Stephanie Oldham -MA, CCC-SLP

Stephanie is a licensed pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist who is native to the Central Coast. She graduated from California State University, Chico in 2015 with her Master’s of Arts Degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is passionate about Childhood Apraxia of Speech, phonology, and expressive/receptive language interventions. When she’s not at work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, reading, and heading to the beach.

 

Caroline Breeding - M.S. CCC-SLP

Caroline moved to the Central Coast in 2019 after receiving her Bachelor’s and Master’s from the University of Utah in Speech-Language Pathology. She is an adult-based therapist passionate about neurological communication disorders, primarily cognitive-linguistic impairments and aphasia. Additional areas of expertise include dysphonia, motor speech, and dysphagia. When she’s not at work she enjoys reading a good mystery, playing with her dog, and exploring the Central Coast!

Olivia Snelson - M.S. CCC-SLP

Olivia is originally from the Central Coast. She received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College. She works with both pediatrics and adult clients. She is particularly interested in aphasia and cognitive-communication deficits. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, yoga, camping, being at the beach with her husband and dogs, and coaching volleyball.

Georgie Shimek - M.S. CCC-SLP

Georgie is a pediatric-based SLP who graduated from The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2018. Before BST, she worked in Early Intervention in the school setting. She is passionate about areas related to Autism Spectrum Disorder, early language development, and articulation therapy. She recently moved to California from Wisconsin to avoid the harsh Midwest winters and be closer to the ocean. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, gardening, and painting.

Kelsey Martin - M.S. CCC-SLP

Kelsey is a Speech-Language Pathologist who sees all ages. She received her Bachelor’s in Science from Middle Tennessee State University and Master’s degree from Eastern Washington University. Kelsey has previous experience with pediatrics, primarily toddlers, and working on a multidisciplinary team. Kelsey enjoys spending time outdoors whether it be hiking, surfing, biking, or playing with her pup. She also enjoys lifting, yoga, practicing the piano, and eating.

Candace Montgomery - Office Manager and Scheduling Coordinator

Candace joined the Beyond Speech Therapy team in January of 2021, as the Office Manager and Scheduling Coordinator. She is the point of contact for a wide range of office needs. With 5 years of experience, Candace enjoys the challenges and rewards that come with the daily operations of a medical office. From handling all authorizations and managing continued care for our patients, she is adept at wearing many hats and managing multiple stressors. Outside of work Candace enjoys spending time with her family, creating art, and taking trips to the beach.

Lacey Holder - Referral Coordinator

Lacey was born and raised in San Luis Obispo County. She joined the Beyond Speech Therapy team in February of 2022 as the Referral Coordinator. She is the first point of contact for new patient evaluations and physician referrals. When not at work, Lacey enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping with her husband and kids, as well as volunteering to coach Atascadero Youth Baseball for her sons’ team.
